Below you'll find our Weekly Huatulco Weather Report. This is an amateur effort to give people an idea of what the weather is like here. It is of my personal perception of the weather and diving conditions over the last week and it is certainly not a prediction! Weather Report # 122. Week: 16 - 23 September 2007

Weather

Daytime highs: 31°C / 32°C (88°F / 90°F)

Minimum temperature: 25°C / 26°C (77°F / 79°F)

Another nice and sunny week. A couple of late afternoons it was cloudy or overcast. Friday late afternoon there were very dark clouds over the mountains and we actually got a little bit of light rain for a couple of hours. It was another humid-and-hot-feeling week....

Diving Conditions

Ocean: Monday it was a bit roughish, but the rest of the week it was calm.

Temperature: Around 30°C (86°F).

Visibility: From 15m / 18m (50ft / 60ft) in San Augustin to 10m / 12m (30ft / 40ft) at some other sites.

We went out on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Hurricane Season

There was no tropical cyclone activity in our area this week.

Outside our area: Wednesday Tropical Storm Ivo appeared near Baja California. The next day it became a (weak) hurricane and it weakened again on Friday. By Sunday it was only a low-pressure system, still near Baja.
