Below you'll find our Weekly Huatulco Weather Report. This is an amateur effort to give people an idea of what the weather is like here. It is of my personal perception of the weather and diving conditions over the last week and it is certainly not a prediction! Weather Report # 125. Week: 07 - 14 October 2007

Weather

Daytime highs: 29°C / 33°C (84°F / 92°F)

Minimum temperature: 24°C / 26°C (75°F / 79°F)

Finally a little bit of rain! Tuesday and Wednesday were pretty much overcast with some light rain in the afternoons (cooled thing off nicely!). Thursday morning it was still overcast and around midday we had another few drops, after which the sun came through. Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday it was sunny and dry with a few scattered clouds later in the afternoon.

Diving Conditions

Ocean: Calm

Temperature: Down a little, around 28°C / 29°C (82°F / 84°F) underwater,  around 30°C (86°F) on the surface.

Visibility: Around 10m / 12m (30ft / 40ft). At one site it was only about 8m (25ft).

Hurricane Season

There was no tropical cyclone activity in our area this week.

Outside our area: Yesterday (Sunday) Tropical Depression 15E formed off the coast of Manzanillo. It continues to move away from land.
