Below you'll find our Weekly Huatulco Weather Report. This is an amateur effort to give people an idea of what the weather is like here. It is of my personal perception of the weather and diving conditions over the last week and it is certainly not a prediction! Hurricane Season

There was no tropical storm activity in our area this week.

The East Pacific hurricane season is officially over. We had 17 tropical storms this year, of which 7 became hurricanes. Only 2 of those became major hurricanes. Only 3 storms made landfall, 2 in Northern Mexico and 1 in Nicaragua. Only 1 tropical storm (Odile) came close to Huatulco, however, apart for some rain we hardly had any effects from it. All of the above numbers are below average.

Here is a breakdown per month:

May - 1 TS

June - 1 TS & 1 H

July - 1 TS & 3 H

August - 2 TS & 1 MH (Hernan)

September - 2 TS

October - 1 TS, 1 H & 1 MH (Norbert)

November - 1 TS
