Below you'll find our Weekly Huatulco Weather Report. This is an amateur effort to give people an idea of what the weather is like here. It is of my personal perception of the weather and diving conditions over the last week and it is certainly not a prediction! Weather Report # 164. Week: 07 - 13 July 2008

Weather

Daytime highs: 28°C / 32°C (83°F / 90°F)

Minimum temperature: 24°C / 26°C (75°F / 79°F)

This week it was partly cloudy/overcast and partly sunny most days. Monday we had a little bit of light rain in the daytime, the rest of the days it was dry. Overnight it rained most nights, mostly lightly, but we had some heavier showers as well now and then. Friday evening we had quite a thunderstorm coming right over us. It was a bit cooler than last week.

Diving Conditions

Ocean: Rough most of the week. The port was closed every day except Friday.

Temperature: Around 28°C / 30°C (82°F / 86°F).

Visibility: We only went out on Friday and the viz was pretty bad :-)

Hurricane Season

Saturday Tropical Storm Elida formed 300km (200 miles) off the coast. This system caused rough seas but not much else as it moved to the Northwest. Monday it was upgraded to a hurricane.
