Below you'll find our Weekly Huatulco Weather Report. This is an amateur effort to give people an idea of what the weather is like here. It is of my personal perception of the weather and diving conditions over the last week and it is certainly not a prediction! Weather Report # 163. Week: 30 June - 06 July 2008

Weather

Daytime highs: 28°C / 35°C (83°F / 95°F)

The first half of the week it was still hot and, although it was cloudy, we also had the sun come through. Most evenings and nights it rained, albeit mostly light rain. Friday and over the weekend it rained practically the whole time, again mostly light rain. Those days it was overcast as well and noticably cooler.

Hurricane Season

A quite active week, although it was all far away from Huatulco as usual. By Monday Tropical Storm Cristina was downgraded to a tropical depression and Tuesday it was gone.

On Tuesday Tropical Storm Boris became the first hurricane of the season. Boris was downgraded again to a tropical storm the same day, but became a hurricane again on Wednesday. Thursday we saw Boris downgraged for the second time and by Friday there was nothing left of Boris.

Wednesday we had Tropical Storm Douglas, which was very short-lived, the next day it was gone.

On Sunday Tropical Depression 5E formed, but didn't develop into a tropical storm.
