Below you'll find our Weekly Huatulco Weather Report. This is an amateur effort to give people an idea of what the weather is like here. It is of my personal perception of the weather and diving conditions over the last week and it is certainly not a prediction! Weather Report # 141. Week: 27 January - 03 February 2008

Weather

Daytime highs: 29°C / 34°C (84°F / 94°F)

Minimum temperature: 20°C / 24°C (68°F / 76°F)

It was sunny and dry most of the week. Tuesday and Wednesday we had quite a thick fog rolling in around midday, whcih cooled things off considerably. It dissipated in a relatively short time, but afterwards it stayed pretty much overcast the rest of the afternoon. In 10 years I have seen fog here twice, we've had it 3 times in two weeks now!

Diving Conditions

Ocean: Generally calm.

Temperature: The beginning of the week it was 20°C to 23°C (68°F / 73°F). Towards the end of the week it went up to 25°C to 27°C (77°F / 82°F).

Visibility: This week it went from 5m (15ft), up to 15m (50ft) and down to 10m (30ft) again.

We saw some Humpback Whales again this week and, unfortunatley, there were some little jellyfish around for a few days.
