Diving Conditions
Ocean: Generally calm. We did have a few days with rougher seas and the port was closed twice in the last two months.
Temperature: 22°C / 27°C (77°F / 79°F). As usual this time of the year we a thermocline now and then.
Visibility: Anywhere between less than 5m (15ft) to 15m+ (50ft). On average it was around 10m (30ft), not very good for the time of the year.
Over the last two months we saw Humpback Whales, dolphins, Orca's, Giant Manta Rays, etc. The whales have gone back North by now.
The last few days we have had a "red tide" all around the coastline. Obviously not very good for diving and/or snorkeling. It's clearing up again now.
