Hurricane Season
The East Pacific hurricane season is officially over.
We had 17 tropical storms this year, of which 7 became hurricanes. Only 2 of those became major hurricanes. Only 3 storms made landfall, 2 in Northern Mexico and 1 in Nicaragua. Only 1 tropical storm (Odile) came close to Huatulco, however, apart from some rain we hardly had any effects from it. All of the above numbers are below average.

June - 1 TS & 1 H
July - 1 TS & 3 H
August - 2 TS & 1 MH (Hernan)
September - 2 TS
October - 1 TS, 1 H & 1 MH (Norbert)
November - 1 TS
