Below you'll find our Weekly Huatulco Weather Report. This is an amateur effort to give people an idea of what the weather is like here. It is of my personal perception of the weather and diving conditions over the last week and it is certainly not a prediction! Weather Report # 170. Week: 18 - 24 August 2008

Weather

Daytime highs: 32°C / 33°C (90°F / 92°F)

Minimum temperature: 25°C / 27°C (77°F / 80°F)

Most days of the week it was sunny and dry. Wednesday and Thursday it was overcast for part of the day and we had thunderstorms coming over during the evening and night, bringing a few heavy downpours. Friday, and over the weekend, it was sunny and dry again.

Diving Conditions

Ocean: Generally calm.

Temperature: Around 28°C / 30°C (82°F / 86°F).

Visibility: We didn't go out this week.

Hurricane Season

There was no tropical storm activity in our area this week.

Saturday Tropical Storm Julio formed, not far from Baja California, in which direction it was headed.
