Below you'll find our Weekly Huatulco Weather Report. This is an amateur effort to give people an idea of what the weather is like here. It is of my personal perception of the weather and diving conditions over the last week and it is certainly not a prediction! Weather Report # 169. Week: 11 - 17 August 2008

Weather

Daytime highs: 30°C / 33°C (86°F / 92°F)

Minimum temperature: 25°C / 27°C (77°F / 80°F)

Except for Friday it was sunny and dry this week, at least in the the daytime. Friday it was overcast and we had some light rain the morning. Thursday night and Friday night we had thunderstorms coming over Huatulco, which brought quite a bit of rain.

Diving Conditions

Ocean: Calm.

Temperature: Around 28°C / 30°C (82°F / 86°F).

Visibility: We didn't go out this week.

Hurricane Season

There was no tropical storm activity in our area this week.

On Tuesday Hurricane Hernan was downgraded to a tropical storm and by Wednesday the system was gone. On Thursday Tropical Storm Iselle formed, again far away from Huatulco. She did not develop into a hurricane and by Sunday the system had dissolved.
