  • Watch the First Aid for HMLI Course Video

  • Read the First Aid for HMLI  Manual (optional)

Knowledge Development                                                                                  1 hr.

  • Attend the Knowledge Development Presentation

  • Complete the HMLI Exam

Skill Development                                                                                       2 - 3 hrs.

  • Complete the 8 practical excercises

Example Schedule

Without preparation and over 1/2 day. When you book with enough time in advance, we can get you the materials to prepare for the course. We are flexible and will adjust a schedule when appropriate. We will spend all the time with you, that is needed to complete a course.

  • First Day

  • 09:30 - 10:00 ---- watch video

  • 10:00 - 10:30 ---- knowledge development presentation

  • 10:30 - 13:00 ---- practical excercises

  • 13:00 - 13:30 ---- First Aid for HMLI exam

Course Prerequisites

To enroll in the DAN First Aid for HMLI Course, it is highly recommended that the candidate:

  • Has succesfully completed Medic First Aid and CPR Training within the last 24 months (DAN highly recommends this, Hurricane Divers requieres it).

Note: retraining is highly recommended every two years.
