PADI Emergency First Response Course Details

Course Duration - 1 Day

Preparation / Self Study                                                                              2 - 4 hrs.

• Read the Independent Study part of the EFR Participant Manual and answer the Knowledge Reviews

• Watch the EFR Video

Knowledge Development                                                                                  1 hr.

• Review the Knowledge Reviews with your Instructor

Skill Development                                                                                            4 hrs.

• Attend Skill Development Sessions

• Complete Scenario Practice

Example Schedule

Without preparation and over 1 day. When you book with enough time in advance, we can get you the materials to prepare for the course. We are flexible and will adjust a schedule when appropriate. We will spend all the time with you, that is needed to complete a course.

• First Day

• 09:30 - 10:30 ---- read manual & answer knowledge reviews

• 10:30 - 13:00 ---- review knowledge reviews and watch video

• 14:00 - 18:00 ---- skill development and practice

Course Prerequisites

• There are no prerequisites to enroll in a PADI Emergency First Response Course

Note: a refresher is highly recommended every two years

Note: to enroll in the First Aid Course (the secondary care part of the EFR Course), you need to have completed the CPR Course (the primary care part of the EFR Course) or a CPR Course from another qualified CPR training organization within the past 24 months.
