Scuba Diving
Huatulco is definitely an interesting place for scuba diving. We have a huge variety of dive sites, an abundance of aquatic life, very comfortable water temperature and in general reasonable to good visibility. You can do anything from an introduction into scuba diving to certification courses and of course various dive trips are offered. Snorkeling
There is a wide variety of snorkeling sites in the different bays of Huatulco. Some you can reach from the beach and for others you need to go by boat. Coral and lots of colorfull fishes are the main attractions. You can go out snorkeling on your own or we can provide you with an introduction into snorkeling or one of the many snorkel tours and excursions we offer, with a professional guide to show you the good stuff. Rafting
In Huatulco the rafting season is approximately from June/July to February/March, depending on the amount of rain we get. There are various rivers you can practice this exciting sport at all levels, from nice and easy, for the whole family, to real white water rafting for the more fit and experienced people (levels I to V). You´ll get to enjoy the beautifull mountain scenery and the wide variety of flora and fauna around the rivers.

River Kayaking
There´s some exciting river kayaking you can do on the various rivers around Huatulco. Obviously the amount of white water depends on the amount of rain we get (see Rafting above). You can also do the same descends that are done with the rafting, but then with a kayak instead of in the raft.

Ocean Kayaking
Another posibility is going out on the ocean with ocean kayaks for one or for two people. An fun activity more suitable for the whole family. You can rent kayaks in various places.

Deep Sea Fishing
As in many places along the Mexican Pacific Coast, deep sea fishing is very popular here in Huatulco. There´s Black and Blue Marlin around as well as Sail Fish, Tuna, Dorado, etc. Fishing tournaments are frequently organized throughout the year. You can go out with a specialized boat and crew or you can take go out with one of the "pangas" that offer fishing as one of their services. There are several of those that offer a very professional service.

Parasailing
In the Bay of Tangolunda "Captain Hollywood" offers parasailing. You get ten minutes of flying and you can go up to 100m (300ft) or 200m (600ft). He´s got a brandnew boat especially designed for parasailing and you take off and land on a platform on the boat. Guaranteed fun and impressive views!

Other Water Sports
There´s a variety of other water sports available in Huatulco. You can rent a jet ski, ride the inevitable banana, rent a boogey board, go waterskiing or just go for a swim. In some of the hotels they have windsurfing equipment and little sailboats for rent. In La Bocana and Barra de la Cruz you can actually do a bit of surfing, although for the real thing you would have to go to Puerto Escondido.
